Loads first
Before we quote we establish what the scaffold has to carry: material, people, machinery, wind. Bay spacing, ties and bracing follow from that.
Anton Muckel Gerüstbau GmbH
We supply, hire out and erect scaffolding across the whole Heinsberg district, from a facade scaffold on a house to a special structure on civil engineering work. Tell us what is needed and we will come out and measure up.

Bracing
Standards and ledgers carry the load, but a bay only becomes rigid through the brace across the diagonal. We work the same way: first the question of which forces actually occur, then the structure that carries them away. That holds for a family house in Wassenberg exactly as it does under a road bridge.
Before we quote we establish what the scaffold has to carry: material, people, machinery, wind. Bay spacing, ties and bracing follow from that.
A lorry with a loading crane and container body, and telescopic handlers with a range of attachments, belong to the firm. Material reaches places a delivery van no longer gets to.
Where a standard bay does not fit we build the special structure: roofing over, suspended scaffolds, stages and load bearing scaffolds under a structure.
Systems
The systems come from our own stock. Which one fits is decided by the building, not by a catalogue.
Working and protective scaffolds on houses, apartment blocks and commercial buildings, with ladder access, edge protection and ties into the existing fabric.
Full area working decks indoors, for ceilings, halls and tall rooms where the work is done from below.
System scaffolds for plans that are not rectangular, with connections at corners, bays, staircases and curved elements.
For high imposed loads and for structures that have to carry themselves, for instance under a bridge deck or under a slab.
Suspended decks where there is no free standing point below, and mobile towers for short jobs that keep moving.
Scaffolding in a running plant, on installations, silos, boilers and hall structures, with routes and access kept clear.
Weather protection above the site, and full encapsulation with sheeting and netting where dust and material must not escape.
Safe access for sites and events, either as the way onto the scaffold or as a second escape route.
Stands, stages and structures built to a drawing, when nothing off the shelf will do.
Process
Four steps, in this order. At every point you know what happens next.
We look at the building: height, area, ground, access, where ties are possible and everything that is in the way.
Bay spacing, ties, bracing and the standing time are settled. You receive a written quotation for it.
The scaffold is put up, tied and braced, and then handed over to you. Changes during the build are agreed with you.
We stay reachable while the scaffold stands. Once the work is finished we dismantle it and clear the area.
From our own projects
Different rules apply under a bridge deck than on a facade. The standing point is often the carriageway itself, headroom is limited, and the structure has to take the loads of the work on the bridge. The photographs below come from our own projects.
Load bearing scaffold under the deck
Scaffold tower under an overpass, working platform directly beneath the structure, the surroundings screened off with sheeting.
Ceiling scaffold in the underpass
A continuous ceiling scaffold across the full width, standards set out on a grid, the carriageway alongside stays clear.
Working level at the bridge girder
A scaffold lift running along the girder, barriers towards the carriageway, access from the end of the run.
Encapsulated bay with ladder access
A scaffold bay with safety netting and sheeting, the climb by ladder bay, the view outwards from the working deck.
Suspended encapsulation
Sheeting under the deck as dust protection for the work on the structure, the passage underneath stays walkable.

Service area
Wassenberg lies on the river Rur and on the Dutch border. We serve the town with all of its districts and work throughout the Heinsberg district and in the neighbouring municipalities.
Our yard is in Linnich, Im Gansbruch 22. Material, loading crane and handler come from there. A phone call is enough to arrange a measure up in Wassenberg.
Arrange a measure upEnquiry
A name, a telephone number and a few sentences about the building are enough to start with. Everything else we settle on the phone or on site.
Call or write to us. Both reach the same yard in Linnich.
Questions
Yes. Scope and standing time are settled together. Short jobs over a few days are as usual as scaffolds that stand for a whole construction phase.
That depends on area, height, ties, access and standing time. So we do not quote a flat rate: we measure up and then give you a written quotation.
Yes. Load bearing and ceiling scaffolds under structures are part of our work, as is encapsulation where work is done on the deck and nothing may fall below.
Yes. We hire out hoists with and without passenger carriage, telescopic handlers with a range of attachments, and a lorry with a loading crane and container body.
